Baluken: AKP's special contra teams massacred Öge
BİNGÖL (DİHA) - Tens of thousands of people bid farewell to Hamdullah Öge who was murdered by counter guerillas as he was driving back home in his HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) announcement vehicle last night. Speaking in the funeral ceremony, HDP Bingöl Deputy İdris Baluken said the murder was connected with President Erdoğan's Bingöl speech. "The execution is Erdoğan's Plan B and Plan C. These plans have been actualized in this massacre. It was organized. AKP's special contra teams massacred Öge," Baluken underlined.
Hamdullah Öge transformed his Ford Transit minibus into an HDP announcement vehicle and was driving back to his house as he was murdered last night in the Nevalakamış region of Serpmekaya (Alpîran) in Karlıova, Bingöl. After the autopsy in Erzurum Forensic Institution, Öge’s body was claimed by his family and party members to be brought back to Karlıova.
Demirtaş join march
As the body arrived at Karlıova, local shopkeepers shut down their businesses in protest and crowds greeted the body as they chanted “Martyrs don’t die!” The massive crowds of people carried the flags of PKK and KCK, and cursed the AKP government along a massive march.
HDP General Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş also took part in the march for a while and then left for his party's election rally in Erzurum.
His wife and children burst into tears
After religious duties were fulfilled in the mosque, the body of Öge was brought to his house for the last time. Here, Öge's wife and children burst into tears and numerous of people were deeply affected by them. His coffin was decorated with red, green and yellow pennant.
At the cemetery, tens of thousands of people held one minute silence in memory of all those who lost their lives in the struggle of democracy and freedom and sung the Kurdish anthem of "Çerxa Şoreşê".

'Murder of Öge is AKP’s response to people’s boycott'
Baluken spoke to the crowd and reminded the low participation in AKP'S Bingöl rally yesterday. Baluken said that the murder of Hamdullah Öge was the state’s response to the people’s boycott of yesterday’s AKP rally. Baluken stated that Öge has been driving through the districts and villages of Bingöl, and actively contributing to the HDP’s election campaign.
HDP MP called on his party's supporters to be careful against provocation attempts.
